Ultrasonic Welding Mesh Filter Tubes Machine

In order to make more precise cylinder mesh tubes, SHARE has introduced an automatic ultrasonic welding and cutting machine, which are used to weld the mesh ribbons into mesh tubes, and then cut them to the length required by clients for their specific needs. Tube size can vary from 10mm to 60mm.

PA6 or PA66 Filter Meshes?

SHARE has been approached by clients from different industries, asking for filter meshes from us for their particular applications. As saying goes, there is no bad material, only bad material for particular application. Here we would like to have a small talk on the most important filter material: Polyamide 6 and Polyamide 66. PA 6 […]

Precision Woven Filter Meshes

A variety of industries need and require highly specific, mechanically and chemically resistant, high performance filter media. Invention of synthetic fibers offered the possibility to provide a wide range of tailor-made filter elements from woven synthetic fabrics for filtrationa and sifting.

Principles of Filtration

Chemical Compatibility Chemical Compatibility indicates the ability of the filter media to maintain its structural integrity and function with exposure to certain chemical(s). This means that the filter will not exhibit pore-structure impairment, the media will not shed particles or fibers, and extractables will not be present in the filtered sample. In addition to filter material, […]

Felt Filter Bags vs Monofilament Mesh Filter Bags

When referring to the selection of filter bags, several critical principles have to be followed, such as chemical compatibility, hydrophilic or hydrophobic, filter rating, binding, extractable, thermal stability, flow rate and throughput. Here we will talk about two major filter media: Felt Filter and Mesh (Mono-fialment) Filter. Felt Filter Media: Felt is made from synthetic […]

How to control mesh quality

When checking the quality of filter meshes, we will need to take tensile strength, mesh count, thread diameter as well as open area into consideration, other than these parameters, surface treatment is also measured when meshes are selected for specific filtration application. Yarn Inspection Raw material for filter mesh is the yarn (monofilament or multifilament), […]

How to select a proper filter bags

To make the filter bags perform to the optimum at the vessel, you need to know how to choose the right filter bags for the filtration system. Filter Fabrics Polypropylene, Polyester, Nomex and Nylon are the four major synthetic fiber-made filter media used for making filter bags, which are able to be made of needle-punched […]

Screen Printing Mesh Brief Introduction

Mesh materials  The two most popular mesh materials in use today are polyester and stainless steel. In the past other materials were used, among them silk, which is why so many uninformed sources still insist on referring to screenprinting as “silkscreen printing.” For many years, nylon also enjoyed considerable popularity as a screen material and […]
